Environment  - Respect and Protect

RESPECT /PROTECT

They call me the swimming detective, as I have an intimate understanding and knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Wye, recording and observing all the changes to the river environment. I try to play a significant role in safeguarding the river’s future and highlighting the decline in species and habitat loss.

I am a strong campaigner for cleaner rivers working tirelessly on gathering information

and data and holding those to account who disrespect our natural resources that nature so kindly shares with us.

Writing and appearing on many pollution programs Panorama and recently with George Monbiot on programmes such as Rivercide the girl with the wooden spoon ( who runs her business from her phone and no home internet ) known as the wild woman of the Wye refuses to allow the death of her beloved River Wye by holding to account the many contributors who continue to pollute!

Fundraising Campaign

Angela jones swim wild

My name is Angela Jones and I have been campaigning for Cleaner rivers for nearly 6 years I am worried about the levels of deterioration of our River Wye, River Usk and all Uk Rivers. I campaign tirelessly and I am totally self funded.

I need support to be able to effectively lobby our leaders; gather data through systematically testing the river for levels of pollution, work towards returning the river to one that is abundant with wildlife and safe for our communities to enjoy.

I have spoken in Westminster and am often in the media. Please see my environment campaigns below for further information

Our children and grandchildren deserve clean, safe water.

I travel all over the country to talk and attend meetings, I gather crucial data and hold polluters to account. I tirelessly campaign and I will never stop bringing awareness till Nature and our Rivers get the respect they deserve

Please help me continue my work in this crucial time.

Thank you

Angela
