Symonds Yat Horseshoe Swim Adventure 6km Swim, 5km forest Walk up to Yat rock

Come join me and my water safety team on this Small Group Event.

We will Meet at The Old Court Hotel Symonds Yat West for a 1km river walk before we Cross the river with short 25m swim then walk 5km through forest up to Yat rock and descend  down to Wye river below where peregrines nest and  stunning rock formations and breathtaking scenery meet the Beautiful Wye River .Then with a 6km technical interesting Swim back to Start . An amazing swim day Garunteed Angela Jones has been cold water swimming the river Wye for over 30 years and is highly experienced, qualified and fully insured.

What do I need to bring?

Wetsuits, tow floats and water shoes are essential - don't worry if you don't have any equipment as you can hire / purchase from Angela but this must be pre-ordered 48 hours before the event.

Is this event for me?

In order to attend this event you will need to be able to swim 5 kilomtres in open water and be used to at least an hour in cold water

.This is a non competitive event where we enjoy and embrace the Beautiful Wye and it’s Wild life .

You will need to confirm during registration you can swim this distance so please read the declaration.
