3km Wild Walk & 2 or 3km Swim Adventure ( with ottering ) - Symonds Yat West

Join outdoor and wild swim specialist Angela Jones and team on this Swim Adventure in Symonds Yat for an afternoon 2K wild walk along the river Wye and a guided 2 or 3km technical swim downstream (choose your distance on the day).

This session will take in the glorious surroundings of the river Wye and explore the beauty of the riverbanks before swimming downstream. There will be the opportunity to swim upstream if you wish. Angela will share swimming and safety techniques to help you enjoy swimming wild, along with stroke technique, river reading and water safety advice.

Social distancing and government guidelines for health & safety will be followed.

Angela Jones has been cold water swimming the river Wye for over 30 years and is highly experienced, qualified and fully insured.

Over 16s. Wetsuits can be hired for £5 and Tow Floats are included.

What do I need to bring?

Wetsuits, tow floats and water shoes are essential - don't worry if you don't have any equipment as you can hire / purchase from Angela but this must be pre-ordered 48 hours before the event.

Is this event for me?

In order to attend this event you will need to be able to swim 2 kilomtres in open water. You will need to confirm this during registration so please read the declaration.
